Who We Are

Established in 2006, Simply Housing are Development Consultants who specialise in the procurement of Affordable Housing. We provide services to Local Authorities, Housing Associations, private developers & house builders, architects, charities and churches.

Simply Housing operates from its base in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire.

The Team

Philip Helm

Since completing his Masters Degree in Civic Design in 1991 Philip has worked for both the public and private sectors in a broad range of property related positions. He has particular skills in identifying, creating, assembling and negotiating development opportunities.

Whilst the Company creates and facilitates innovative housing solutions for house builders, local authorities and housing associations, Philip created "Simply Housing" to specialise in the procurement and delivery of affordable housing - negotiating partnerships between house builders and housing associations to enable the delivery of affordable housing.

Although Philip and his team work with clients predominantly in the North West of England - Simply Housing is retained by certain clients to identify specific (residential and commercial) development opportunities throughout the UK.

Philip is a non executive Director of Blackpool Wyre and Fylde CVS.

Associates

Peter Hodgson

Peter Hodgson is a chartered architect with over 20 years experience of social housing. He started his career in private practice before managing the in-house design team of a major housing association.

He has worked for several RSLs in various technical and development roles, including Director of Development and Maintenance at a stock transfer Association. He has worked as a consultant since 2002.
